We have accredited dogmen, crane and elevated work platform operators to eliminate big trees in hard positions. All tree waste is processed into reusable leaf mulch utilizing our fleet of wood chippers.

We have a range of equipment to assist us in our daily activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly developed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Tree maintenance and elimination in the metropolitan environment requires operators to continuously work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the best possible way. To further make sure the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is performed on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Devices

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly developed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

Ride On Lawn mowers

With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance easy, quick and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and improved safety in removing trees.

With their capability to raise big loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe manner in which minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function built canopies developed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst allowing airflow and decreasing dust triggering air pollution. We have a range of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing city environment root barriers have ended up being an important method in preserving the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the setup of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a range of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capability.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the current safety functions and fulfill the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety feature, we make sure that a selection of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to decrease manual handling injuries.
