Hills Landscaping has established strategic alliances with numerous consulting arborists throughout our service area for the benefit of our clients.

Our Equipment

We have a range of equipment to assist us in our daily activities including;

1. Elevated Work Platforms

Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree trimming (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Tree maintenance and removal in the urban environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical infrastructure and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the safest possible way. To further ensure the safe functioning of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.

2. Insulated Equipment

All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree trimming, (CATT) around live electrical infrastructure.

Ride On Mowers

With our fleet of ride on lawn mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance simple, quick and safe. All our ride on lawn mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions and so on

3. Crane Trucks

Crane trucks provide greater effectiveness and enhanced safety in eliminating trees.

With their capability to lift big loads and therefore minimizing our teams’ direct exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Hills Landscaping has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.

4. Tip Trucks

Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.

All tip trucks have function built canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and minimizing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or small.

5. Root Cutter

In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have become an important technique in preserving the harmony of trees and infrastructure.

The Hills Landscaping root cutter is specially designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to permit the installation of root barrier.

6. Wood Chippers

We have a variety of wood chippers that vary from 225mm to 500mm capability.

All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety features and fulfill the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an added safety feature, we ensure that a choice of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to decrease manual handling injuries.
